I went to the theatre on Friday night to see “There Will Be Blood”. I can’t say enough about this movie. In fact, I won’t say much at all; you should just go see it.What I will say is that his movie is full of quotable lines. I just noticed this morning that John Gruber at Daring Fireball changed his tagline to “I drink your milkshake” – which is a quote from the movie.
My favourite quote from the movie is “I don’t like to explain myself”. When Daniel Day-Lewis said it in the movie, I laughed out loud in the theatre. I’ve been using that quote with my wife on a regular basis all weekend. I think I will use it until the end of my days.
